    1. In your own words, what does agroecology mean to you?
    2. Think about your local “foodshed” or “Food System”. What are the social relationships that mediate your food? i.e. who do you interact with to buy, produce, prepare and share food?

Two things: 1) food Sovereignty, people been able to sustain themselves thru their own knowledge &actions. 2) A diverse system that puts food at the center of the sustainability.

Agroecology is the synchronicity of food production and environmental stewardship. It is the merging of natural systems and the way in which humans can design bio-feedback loops to sustain and nurture a parcel of land.
